Time for Le Pen? 71 per cent of French have no confidence in Macron

The French President is facing further humiliation as his approval rating drops even more amidst a cabinet reshuffle.

Down to only 26 per cent of the French people still supporting him and approving of him amidst the controversial cabinet reshuffle.

The poll data by Kantar Public published on Wednesday shows that 71 per cent of those surveyed say they have no confidence in the President’s ability to run the country.

Meanwhile, US President Trump’s approval rating of 40 per cent casts shadows on Macron’s and British Prime Minister Theresa May’s which is also less than 30 per cent, according to polling in July.

French voters have accused Emmanuel of appointing members to surround himself with ‘yes-men’ after three ministerial resignations.

Though he has been losing popularity and confidence at home, he’s taken a holiday and since Angela Merkel has made the shocking announcement, those in the pro-migration, anti-borders crowd, there is more pressure than ever on Mr Macron to lead Europe.

This despite the fact his own country have dubbed him out of touch and being the “president of the rich”.
