London commuters faced misery on their morning commute due to severe delays across four London Underground lines.
The District, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines were all affected after a signal failure at Edgware Road.
A fire alert at Kenton also sparked disruption on the Bakerloo line.
The District, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines were briefly suspended on Tuesday morning. The lines all later ran with severe delays.
TfL said passengers affected by these delays could use their tickets on London buses on any reasonable route in zones one or two.
On the Bakerloo line there were severe delays between Stonebridge Park and Harrow and Wealdstone.
TfL said London buses would accept tickets on any reasonable route.
A TfL spokesperson said: “I apologise to customers for disruption caused on the Tube network this morning.
“Our staff promptly attended a fire alert at Kenton Station which caused delays on the Bakerloo line and also resolved a signal failure at Edgware Road station which resulted in a brief suspension on District, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines.”
